Freshly Met

This poem came pouring forth after an evening spent in communion with the Lord. Freshly Met Melting into You I surrender all I am for all You Are It’s not a fair exchange Your Life for Mine But that’s what GRACE is Beauty for ashes Ashes poured out I sit at Your feet and weep for Joy my Savior, my Friend You Are Never to be the same again Who knew life could be so sweet admist the pain You are beautiful to me Love poured out it’s unfathomable but it’s true His Reign unending Will you come too to be renewed? © 2014 Krissy K. Maker of the Stars drawing near

Maker of the Stars You astound me the Maker of the stars caring enough to draw near and seek our hearts You, who have made everything. You, in whom the whole world goes round, drawing near for our hearts, our hands. What do you see in us? What do you see in mankind that speaks to your heart that causes you to rend the heavens and come near? King and Master humbling himself to walk as man among us. It is we who should be humbled that you seek our hand yet more, our hearts, to dwell with yours. Why do we treat you so lightly? You, are Lord. Teach us to revere you. © 2016 Krissy K. Aflamed

Aflamed You captured my heart in that one glance. Table full of friends and family laughing, eating, talking. I passed by with dish in hand and caught your eye as you sat at the head of the table. One glance – and it lit my heart on fire. Captivated, we spoke volumes of love and affection and joy to one another. It was as if it was just you and I alone together. Intimacy, joy, love, abiding reflected, shone like stars through our eyes as we gazed at one another. My Lord, My Lover, My Husband, My Friend. © 2016 Krissy K. Moehling
